The unique feature of our permeability measuring method is the application of numerous in-built self checking and self correcting algorithms, which ensure high reliability of the measurement. Leakage in the permeation cell caused e.g. by improper sealing between the sample and the cell body is detected automatically. Furthermore, in some measurements anomalous permeation can occur, which can easily be identified by our method.
Examples include spontaneous gas emission from the sample or chemical reaction between the permeated gas and the sample.
