Dr. Zoltán Bozóki CEO

He received his MSc degree in physics in 1989 and his PhD degree in physics in 1991.
Since 1994 he works at the Research Group on Laser Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Science as a senior research fellow.
Between 1998 and 2000 he was working at Technical University of Munich, as a scientific research associate.

His foreign experience includes:
Laboratoire d'Optique ESPCI, CNRS, French state scholarship (October 1992 - February 1993),
Wageningen University of Agriculture, the Netherlands "Visiting Scientist Fellowship" (February 1993 - May 1993),
University of Leuven , Scholarship granted by the European Community (September 1993 - February 1994),
Friedrich Schiller University , Jena , DAAD scholarship (October-November 1997). Rice University , Houston Texas , July 2001.


He has more than 40 publications in international scientific journals. His publications were cited more than 180 times.
Patents: 3 Hungarian, 1 German and 1 PCT.
He has participated in numerous R&D projects financed either by the Hungarian Government or by the European Union.
He has also participated in several industrial projects especially together with the Mol. (Hungarian Oil and Gas Company) NyRt.
Since 2004 he is one of the Managing Directors of the Hilase Ltd.


István Lak CEO

He received his MSc degree in Electronic Engineering in 1980 at the Technical University of Budapest.
Between 1980 and 1990 he worked at the Videoton Elektronikai Vállalat, (Videoton Electronics Corporation) Székesfehérvár as a product designer.
Between 1990 and 2000 he worked as a representative of Videoton in India ( New Delhi ).
Since 2000 he is working at Videoton Holding Rt., (Székesfehérvár) as the Head of the Development Institute.
Since 2004 he is one of the Managing Directors of the Hilase Ltd.


Prof. Dr. Gábor Szabó

He received his MSc degree in physics in 1978. Since 1994 he is working as professor at the Department of Optics and Quantum Electronics of the University of Szeged .

He became correspondent member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2004.

His work is rewarded by numerous awards, like Dennis Gabor Award in 2004.

His scientific interests, major fields of research:

- Photoacoustic spectroscopy, ultrafast laser spectroscopy,
- Generation of femtosecond pulses,
- Nonlinear optics, optimum control of quantum systems,
- Medical applications of lasers,

Ottó Sinkó

Chief Executive Officer of the VIDEOTON HOLDING ZRt.

Born in 1958. He graduated from the Technical University of Budapest as an electrical engineer in 1982. He received an MBA degree from Brunel University London in 1995 and participated in an Executive Education Program in Harvard University in 1997.
He joined Medicor Rt., where he worked as software development engineer. In 1984 he moved to Muszertechnika Rt. software and hardware Research & Development Department. From 1989 to 1991 he was Vice President of PROCOMP USA a Muszertechnika company in Cleveland OH . He is a member of the supervisory board of Muszertechnika Rt.
In 1992 he was a member of the consortium that bought the assets and brand name of the Videoton predecessor company. He has been Co-CEO and a Member of the Board since 1992.


Dr. Tibor Nagy

Dr. Tibor Nagy has been graduated at the Technical University of Budapest in 1971 chemical engineering, Ph D in 1978.
He was a visiting scientist at the University of Akron, Ohio, US in 1977-78, and 1990-92. After 12 years in academic polymer research he joined Taurus Hungarian Rubber Works in 1983, working on the field of rubber high pressure hoses and bonded flexible pipe in various positions. Presently the name of the factory is ContiTech Rubber Industrial Kft. Since 2006 he runs Rubber-Consult Ltd. as well as Z & N Technical Development Ltd. as senior partner still focusing on hose manufacturing and R+D. Coauthor of more than 60 scientific/technical publications and 18 patents.


Dr. Árpád Mohácsi

Árpád Mohácsi received his MS and PhD degrees in physics from University of Szeged, Hungary, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. From 1998 to present, he has been with the Department Optics and Quantum Electronics, University of Szeged. His current research interests include photoacoustic apparatus and external cavity diode laser development.
